وزارة النفط : وكيل الوزارة لشؤون الاستخراج يتابع تنفيذ مشروع تنمية الغاز المتكامل في البصرة
بالإنابة عن نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء لشؤون الطاقة وزير النفط المهندس حيان عبدالغني السواد، أجرى وكيل الوزارة لشؤون الاستخراج السيد باسم محمد خضير ،اليوم الجمعة، زيارةً ميدانية إلى حقل ارطاوي النفطي في البصرة، ويأتي ذلك في إطار المتابعة المباشرة لتنفيذ مشروع تنمية الغاز المتكامل، والاطلاع على نسب انجاز المشاريع التي تنفذها شركة “توتال إنرجيز” الفرنسية ، بالشراكة مع شركة قطر للطاقة، وبالتعاون مع شركة نفط البصرة.
وتفقّد السيد الوكيل محطة المعالجة المركزية الأولى (CPF1)، واطّلع على أعمال إعادة التأهيل الجارية فيها، والتي ستسهم بعد اكتمالها في رفع الطاقة الإنتاجية من 60 ألف برميل إلى 120 ألف برميل يومياً، وقد بلغت نسبة الإنجاز فيها أكثر من 80%.
وشملت الزيارة أيضاً مشروع أنبوب التصدير من حقل ارطاوي إلى مستودع PS1، والذي بلغت نسبة إنجازه 95%، ويُعد من المشاريع المحورية الداعمة لمنظومة تصدير النفط من الحقل.
و شملت الزيارة ايضاً موقع تنفيذ مشروع استثمار الغاز المعجل بطاقة تصميمية تبلغ 50 مليون قدم مكعب قياسي ، والذي يهدف إلى تقليل حرق الغاز المصاحب في حقل ارطاوي واستثماره لأغراض إنتاجية، ومن المخطط أن يبدأ تسليم المشروع في أيار 2026، انسجاماً مع توجهات الحكومة ووزارة النفط في خفض الانبعاثات وتحقيق الاستغلال الأمثل للثروات الوطنية.
واطّلع السيد الوكيل على ما تم إنجازه في أكبر مشروع للطاقة الشمسية في العراق بقدرة إنتاجية تصل إلى 1000 ميغاواط، موضحاً أن المرحلة الأولى من المشروع ستسهم في إضافة 250 ميغاواط إلى الشبكة الوطنية خلال شهر آذار المقبل، بما يعزز توجه العراق نحو استخدام الطاقة النظيفة.
ورافق السيد الوكيل خلال الزيارة السيد مدير عام شركة نفط البصرة، والسيد مدير عام دائرة العقود والتراخيص البترولية، والسيد مدير عام شركة توتال إنرجيز في العراق، فضلاً عن الملاك المتقدم في شركة نفط البصرة.
واشار السيد الوكيل أن الأعمال في المشاريع تسير بوتيرة متصاعدة، مبيناً أن عدد العاملين حالياً في المشروع من مهندسين وفنيين وإداريين يبلغ 7100 عامل، يشكّل العراقيون منهم 85%، مع توقعات بزيادة هذا العدد مع توسع الأعمال، لاستقطاب الأيدي العاملة وتطوير الخبرات الوطنية، فضلاً عن إشراك العديد من الشركات العراقية.

Ministry of Oil: Deputy for Extraction Affairs Follows Up on Integrated Gas
Development Project in Basra
Representing the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Eng. Hayan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad, the Ministry’s Deputy for Extraction Affairs, Mr. Bassem Mohammed Khudair, toured the Artawi oil field in Basra today, Friday. This visit comes within the framework of direct follow-up on the implementation of the Integrated Gas Development Project (GGIP) and to review the completion rates of projects implemented by the French company “TotalEnergies,” in partnership with QatarEnergy and in cooperation with BOC.
The Deputy inspected the first Central Processing Facility (CPF1) and reviewed the ongoing revamping works. Once completed, these works will contribute to increasing production capacity from 60,000 barrels to 120,000 barrels per day, with the completion rate currently exceeding 80%.
The visit also included the export pipeline project from the Artawi field to the PS1 storage station, which has reached a completion rate of 95% and is considered one of the pivotal projects supporting the field’s oil export system.
Furthermore, the visit covered the site of the accelerated gas investment project with a design capacity of 50 million standard cubic feet. This project aims to reduce associated gas flaring in the Artawi field and use it for productive purposes. The project is scheduled for delivery in May 2026, in line with the government’s and the Ministry of Oil’s directives to reduce emissions and achieve optimal use of national resources.
The Deputy also reviewed the progress of the largest solar power project in Iraq, with a production capacity of 1,000 MW. He explained that the first phase of the project will contribute 250 MW to the national grid next March, strengthening Iraq’s shift toward clean energy.
The Deputy was accompanied during the visit by the DG of BOC, the DG of the Petroleum Contracts and Licensing Department, and the DG of TotalEnergies in Iraq, as well as the senior staff of BOC.
The Deputy noted that work on the projects is proceeding at an accelerating pace, stating that the current number of workers—including engineers, technicians, and administrators—stands at 7,100, with Iraqis making up 85%. This number is expected to increase as operations expand to attract more labor, develop national expertise, and involve numerous Iraqi companies.
