في إنجاز جديد يعكس مكانة مصر الريادية في مجال الاستدامة والمناخ على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي، أعلن معهد الاستدامة والبصمة الكربونية Institute of Sustainability and Carbon Footprint LLC برئاسة السفير الدكتور مصطفى الشربيني، أحد أبرز الخبراء الدوليين في المناخ والاستدامة، عن حصوله على أربع شهادات أيزو دولية مرموقة تعزز ثقة المجتمع الدولي والإقليمي في كفاءته وجودة خدماته:
• ISO 9001:2015 لإدارة الجودة،
• ISO 14001:2015 للإدارة البيئية،
• ISO 21001:2018 لنظم إدارة المؤسسات التعليمية،
• ISO 45001:2018 للصحة والسلامة المهنية،
ويأتي هذا الإنجاز في لحظة فارقة تشهد فيها الشركات المصرية والعربية تحديات غير مسبوقة بسبب آلية تعديل حدود الكربون الأوروبية CBAM ، والتي فرضها الاتحاد الأوروبي كإجراء رئيسي للحد من تسرب الكربون وضمان عدالة التنافسية، وبموجب هذه الآلية، يتعين على جميع المصدرين إلى أسواق الاتحاد الأوروبي الإفصاح الدقيق عن البصمة الكربونية لمنتجاتهم، وهو ما يعرض الشركات غير المستعدة لمخاطر مالية ورسوم كربونية إضافية قد تفقدها تنافسيتها،

من خلال هذا الاعتماد الدولي، يرسخ معهد الاستدامة والبصمة الكربونية مكانته كبيت خبرة قادر على دعم الشركات والحكومات في:
• إعداد تقارير البصمة الكربونية والتحقق من الانبعاثات وفق معايير GHG Protocol وISO 14064،

• إدارة البصمة المائية أصبحت مكمّلة لإدارة البصمة الكربونية،
• أي خلل في كفاءة استهلاك المياه قد يزيد من الانبعاثات الكربونية، ويضاعف التحديات أمام الشركات المصدرة،
